Parenting Support

Ask any seasoned parent and they will tell you that parenting is both a challenging and rewarding experience. Feeling overwhelmed at first is common with new parents. Even if you have other children at home, adding a new baby to the mix can change the dynamics of your family and be stressful until a new routine is established.

Options has tools to help you cope with the challenges of parenthood including one on one fatherhood mentoring at your request. We offer mood screens to moms throughout pregnancy and after delivery to catch a mood disorder before it happens. We’re great connectors to whatver extra support you or your partner may need.

Our navigators are trained to guide parents to numerous community resources that are available. Our parenting skills classes are awesome, interactive and fun. Far from being cookie cutter programs, our classes and workshops are crafted to meet your goals. We offer classes throughout the year at our center. They are free and open to the community for those who register ahead of time.

* An ultrasound examination is available during the first trimester for women who are not yet under a doctor’s care. The purpose of the ultrasound is limited to diagnosis of viability and gestational age.

Don’t Tell Me What To Do

Does this scene look familiar? You have the weight of the world on your shoulders and a well-meaning friend or relative leans in to tell you exactly what you should or shouldn’t do with your life. Really? That’s the last thing in the world you need right now. You sit...

Staying Emotionally Present AND Socially Distant During Pregnancy

In these days of social distancing, it’s important not to isolate yourself from your feelings about your pregnancy, even if you are conflicted. Finding support is one of the best things you can do during this vulnerable time to benefit your emotional well being. In a world that has gone mad, let Options be your neutral zone because to us, your life and how you feel about your pregnancy, matters.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, we are no longer accepting online appointments at this time.
